[Dailydrool] Threatening Objects

I once took a dog for a walk around a block from the motel where we were
staying for a dog show. Everything was fine until we rounded a corner and
discovered a life-sized bronze tableau of a pioneer family--oxen, covered
wagon, people and.....
WOLF!!!
on the courthouse lawn.
It took about a half hour to get past that wolf. No way was he going to
risk going near it, even several yards away, nevermind it didn't move,
nevermind he couldn't smell it, JUST HECK NO I WONT GO!!

Eventually, tail tucked and ears flat against his head we scuttled past it
and dashed for the motel in record time. We just never walked that way
again.
