We have an inflatable device that you blow up and it fits in the wheel well
area behind the front and back seat of the car and in front of the back
seat. We don't have enough room in the BUV for crates so this was the
safest way for the hounds to travel loose in the back. Pam, maybe between
the sling and the inflatable, Horton might be a little safer. At least he
wouldn't be able to fall down into the wheel well area.

The Hay hounds have been doing ok. The dynamics have changed now that we
are down to just one Houndette, Shadow, and Toby. It has been an adjustment
for all of us to get used to only having two hounds rather than the four
and then three that we've always had. Shadow is having some old lady issues
that you would expect at 15 1/2 years young. She recently had a mass
removed from her tail that gave us a fair amount of anxiety but she came
through the surgery with flying colors. I guess she intends to hang around
with us for a while longer. Toby has recently started having seizures which
scared the bleep out of me! He's on anticonvulsant meds now and has been
doing well with it. I'd be just fine if he never has another seizure!

Get well and heart healing drool is coming to all who need it.

Jane, Toby & Shadow
Houndettes Jersey, Ginger and Suzy all ATB now
