I did send a private email but would like to say a public thank-you to
Terry, Dilys, Dylan and Poppy, Samson, Sheba and Henry) for the wonderful
goodies from England.  As Terry posted, yes, I believe it was a record.  it
was mailed on Monday and in my mail box when I got home on Thursday (I'm in
Northern CA)!   The box was full of the greatest basset goodies. a very
unusual metal basset sculpture, a fleece blanket with paw prints (Ernie and
I will have to wrestle for that one), a very cute mouse pad (with Basset
puppies on it), a book of Fred Basset cartoons (my favorite), coasters from
Basset Hound Welfare, some Christmas cards, postcards of their area and
pictures of their home and hounds.  Ernie loved his Sizzlers (Englands
version of Beggin Strips)..  Oh, and I almost forgot. they also sent me 20
raffle tickets from Florida Basset Rescue for the Basset Christmas tree!!! 
Thank you again for making this years SP lots of fun!

Thank you also to Donna!  August would be just hot and boring without the
Daily Drool Secret Pawtner exchange!
