I think I've got it!

Our SP writes:
"A New Englander named John Baldwin is credited with being one of your cities founding fathers.
Also your city was named by flipping a coin."

As a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea - and a bit of a historian who knows that the flipping of a coin for the name of either Berea or Tabor decided the name of our town back around 1835 or so, I think I may have finally found my Secret Pawtner!
