[Dailydrool] Introduction

Hi Droolers,

My husband and I are in the process of adopting a 2 year old basset girl who
was abandoned at a doggie daycare facility in Ecuador. She's making her
journey here (New Jersey) next week. In preparation for her arrival, I
joined this list!

We're first-time basset owners, but we have other dogs, including a border
collie and mini-dachshunds. Just as the doxies have special health needs,
I'm wondering what your favorite tips and tricks are for first time
basset-parents? Any staples we should have on hand immediately (other than
Nature's Miracle, lol)? I'm looking to wean her into Nutro Ultra food, and
we've already been reading up on avoiding bloat, etc.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to getting to
know all of you, and sharing the drool once we get our lady Sally :-)
