[Dailydrool] Erie, PA Basset Event

Hi All-

 

This is Flash trying to paw in to let all Droolers near the Erie, PA area
that there will be a Basset gathering/parade at John V Schultz Furniture at
7400 Peach Street on Sunday, August 17.  The furniture store has a tent sale
going on, yes hounds there are couches there.  And they have a Classic Car
Cruise going on at the same time. My mom used to put on a lot of those
cruises but doesn't do that anymore, she wants to help houndies, so she put
her old stuff together and said why not add the hounds to the event.  Now
these car people used to give a lot of money for the 50/50 thing, whatever
that is, and that money all goes to Droopy Basset Rescue.  So getting the
cars to come isn't going to be a problem unless it rains, we just need more
and more hounds there to parade around the car show field to strut our stuff
to help out Droopy.  It is fun the car people really like us, so if there
are a lot of us there it would be a Basset Cruise In, and we of course put
our manners on and try to get on every couch we can (ok Mom, I won't
encourage the hounds).  But really, if you are in Erie, PA on Sunday, August
17 between noon and 4 come meet MEMEMEMEME.  Lord Flash, OEBE King of
Hearts, and of course my brother Lukie, and bratty sister Lady Guinevere.
