[Dailydrool] Cushing's Disease

Hi there,

Anyone out there have a hound that has Cushing's Disease?  I just found out my 11 year old Basset girl - Daisy has this disease.  We are waiting to get into the vet, as they are so darn busy these days.  She has all the classic symptoms and for what I read on the internet it is controllable with meds.  I was just wondering what I should expect and how to handle this.  

Daisy has gotten extremely aggressive with food, not only hers but the boys too.  They don't always fight back when she bullies them out of their kibble.  She has been having a lot of accidents in the house, has lost weight in her head and neck but her belly constantly looks bloated, she looks for cool places to sleep and has quit hopping up on the furniture, which was her most loved thing to do every day.  

So, if anyone has any info I would appreciate it.
