[Dailydrool] Washing comforters, and timing feeding

Paddi B Basset doesn't sleep with us -- she prefers the leather armchair with ottoman in the living room. (Which is a good thing, because we did sleep with her and Billy one night and that was IT as far as I was concerned! Two sideways bassets in the middle of the bed, both snoring! YikeS!)

However, about the comforter/quilt washing/cleaning cost -- I've discovered that most laundromats/coin op laundries have triple-loader machines, and they will usually take a big comforter for not much money.

Also, someone asked about how often to feed bassets... when Paddi B arrived as a puppy our breeder told us that more small meals were best since overloading the stomach can be associated with bloat. Don't know if it's true but Her Majesty enjoys breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. (She doesn't eat more of course -- we split it into three parts.)

Mary
& Paddi B, who would be glad to eat more. Anytime. Really! And sleep in bed with you!
