I agree with all the postings so far - add Gas-X at every meal. Waldo bloated several times, and ended up having his stomach tacked. But the tacking doesn't prevent the bloat itself, just the torsion. He had an extra-strength Gas-X softgel with every meal, and we only gave him canned food; the dry stuff seemed to make him gassier. (Note that this was just personal experience; I'm not suggesting that everyone should cut out kibble.)
