[Dailydrool] Howie and his flat basset episode

Sorry for being late on the topic but I'm behind on my drool. 
The other day we (me, dadslave, Howie and Fudge) went for 2nd of our 2 
long daily walks.  Well, one of the neighbors that told us about our 
rescue beagle Fudge drove by and pulled to the side to see the dogs (he 
loves them).  We were talking and I guess Howie got tired of waiting for 
us to continue walking and did the flat basset right in the street, of 
course we had to keep an eye out that no one was coming up or down the 
road.  In the mean time, the people that lived in the house across from 
where we were (the love Howie and greet him each time we pass by) came 
running out screaming "what happened, is he all right?"  My husband and 
I looked at each other thinking "what is she talking about?" and then I 
realized, oh my gosh she thinks something happened to Howie.  I said 
everything is fine.  She said "I thought he got hit by the car of the 
man you were talking to".  My husband started to laugh and I had to tell 
him stop, they were scared and concerned, she was almost in tears.  But 
then I thought, she knows how fanatical we are with the boys, wouldn't 
she think I would be hysterical if something did happen?
