[Dailydrool] Pw. Xandy Bear

As you may have read, the blondeslave, all but forgot my birthday last Sunday.  Something about traveling all day to get home from Slobberfest weekend (wonderful pawty as usual).  Not only did she forget that Sunday was my special day but she didn't remember until she saw the e-mails and cards from all of my furends wishing me a happy birthday.  I do want to thank all of you who actually remembered my birthday (not the blondeslave) and sent cards and e-mails.  Suitably horrified at having forgotten, the blondeslave immediately tried to get back in my good graces by making a big fuss and offering me a piece of swiss cheese.  Hmmm...what's wrong with this picture?  Huggie Bear-stop snickering right now.  As you will recall, Huggie Bear's birthday was 4th of July and she was treated to a feast of STEAK and salad with dressing and a new toy.  I'm supposed to be happy with a piece of swiss cheese???  I'm beautiful but I'm NOT THAT PWITTY!!!  I do understand the difference between a piece of cheese and a steak dinner with all of the trimmings!!!!!  Ah...deep cleansing breath.  Stress does age one so and I am only 6 years old.  Anyway, I have been punishing the blondeslave all week by depriving her of my presence on the lap in favor of the dadslave's lap and generally ignoring her lame attempts at getting back on my good side.  Wait what's that?  Oh my, it's a beautiful faux fur bed just for me to lie in when the slave's laps are unavailable.  Why, it's really quite elegant-much better than the lame old toy Huggie got.  Ooh, and look, she's ordered filet mignon just for me, me me...well, I'll probably have to share a little with the commoners that live here. Ooh and she has asparagus, I love asparagus.  Huggie, get away from my bed-get your dirty, common, paws off it-it's mine!!!  Well got to go before Huggie slimes up my new bed.  Again, thank you for all of your birthday greetings and good wishes.
