[Dailydrool] gentian violet

GViolet is an anti-fungal agent which is why it helps kill off yeast
infections. It is an old-time remedy: when the horses ran afoul of the
barbed wire fences we would clean and then paint their wounds with gobs of
Gentian Violet. It was not uncommon to see a couple of horses walking around
with purple ankles.

MomPerson who often wore more GViolet than the horses.
