[Dailydrool] question about spaying and stomach tacking

I have a female basset named reagan who will be spayed june 18th, I am considering having her stomach tacked when she is spayed to prevent bloat. I have a 4 year old male basset who has never bloated but i am terrified of bloat so i was wondering if anyone with a female basset has taken the precaution to go ahead and have their basset's stomach tacked during a spay before a history of bloat?
