[Dailydrool] Bug Bites

I hate to have to keep going back to the same subject, but now those
stupid Buffalo Gnagts (small black biting flies) are eating my girls ears.
I can't leave them out for more than 10 mins at a time, but now both have
bites all over their ears and Emmy's little head still has mosquito bites
on it. Is there anything that is safe to put on the lawn to kill and
prevent some of these bugs from eating my babies alive? They love to play
outside, but right now, even they are ready to come in after a few bites.
The skin so soft doesn't seem to be helping. I always used a spray
insecticide on my lawn that said it was safe after it dried when my
Dalmatian was alive, but Bassets sniff around so much more that I am
afraid to put anything on it. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Drool to all in need. I am praying for those of you with sick furbabies
and those who have seen furbabies to the Bridge. And to Abbi's foster
Mommy - as others have said, do not feel bad for the decision you made.
Those kind of demons can just sometimes not be calmed. A safe, quiet trip
to the bridge saved her from them and the torment they may have caused her
in the future.

Brenda - Mom to the bug bite twins Daisy Mae and Emmy Lou (HELP! They are
after us!)
