[Dailydrool] Bestest basset birthday party ever!

Dis is Della and my mom took me to da bestest basset birthday party ever
today!  It was my new friend Jake's 2nd birthday and I gots to go!  Buford
stayed home....he has been a grumpy bear ever since his surgery so I guess
mom thought he should stay home and rest more....he missed out!!!

I made new friends with Jake, Midge, Hazley, Otis and Lucy (she is a beagle
but she's alright).  We had Frosty paws and doggie birthday cake!!  We ran
around dis HUGE yard and I didn't have to wear a leash 'cause dere was dis
HUMONGOUS barrier all da way 'round da yard--I was FREEE!!!!!

Den they put dese funny cone hats on us...I didn't really care 'cause I was
pooped!  I got home and told Buford all about it--I think he's jealous
'cause he kept on sniffing me longer den he ever does when I go somewhere
without him.  

(Yawn) I'm really tired now so I'm gonna nap--HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAKE!

Mom here:  Joanne you threw a fantastic basset birthday party.  Thank you so
much for having us over! I really needed a day that revolved around nothing
more than laughing at a group of bassets!
