[Dailydrool] Follow-up on hostile neighbor situation

Several of you have inquired recently about how I am doing with the neighbors who yelled at me for walking my dogs past their house. For those who did not see this thread, I recently had an unpleasant encounter with neighbors who felt that my dogs and I should stay at our own home rather than leash walk on the sidewalk in my neighborhood, even during daylight hours, past the home of the hostile neighbors and other homes, as our presence on the street tends to incite confined dogs along our route to bark at us (though my own dogs remain quiet).
I have avoided walking past the house in the incident since having been accosted, frankly because I am a wuss and am still kind of frightened by the neighbor in question. I did speak with one of my next-door neighbors about the incident, however, a very nice person, owner of eight chihuahuas herself, who also happens to be a uniformed police officer. My neighbor, the police officer, apparently went down to talk to the yellers herself on her own initiative. I don't know what was said--I have this all second-hand from a third neighbor.
But, the upshot is, the hostile neighbors are moving out of our neighborhood! (I doubt it's anything related to my situation--I guess there have been other problems). I've got my fingers crossed for good luck for them in this housing market. Hallelujah.
Thank you all again for all or your support. Droolers are the best. Val
