[Dailydrool] bassedor they are wonderful

I read the post yesterday about the Bassedor Labrador and basset mix, I used to have one her name was Snoopy. She went to the bridge in 2004, she lived to be 13 years of age. and we got her when she was 9 months old. She looked like a black basset short legs long ears but a bit shorter than bassets. But her ear would stretch to her nose. She didn't have the wrinkles and her nose was shorter and had a lab look to it. She had really big brown eyes, she also had a little white streak on the front if her neck. When we would go places people would ask what kind of dog she was. There is not many of them out there. but they are the most loyal friend for life. It was so funny she hunted food like a basset and waddled like one..labs love water so did Snoopy but she could not swim because she was built like a basset. She just walked through puddles and the edge of any lake until the water was up to her chin. She just waddled on. She was a one of a kind
 pet that left paw prints on my heart but it was time for her to go to the bridge and her companion that went to the bridge which was a 14 year old keeshound, who was also the love of my life also she when to the bridge 1 year before snoopy and now they will be their for penny and one day I will be with them again. sorry for rambling but i still have my 2 Sissy's Betsy boo boo and Sadie sue   their my girls now and they sure work their mommy.. got to go boo boo needs me. happy thoughts for those at the bridge. and hugs and kisses and drooly ones too..
