[Dailydrool] Lumpy Chest???

Very worried MomP here. I haven't been spending a terribly
large amount of time with the boys recently as I have been
so busy. This was their weekend, but Ahroo had to go to the
vet, and Drake somehow managed to find a thumbtack in the
yard after the rain storm and get it stuck in his foot. So
after all this, MomP was tired. So the boys went to sleep
and so did I. I had to work today, and I was rushing home to
swap them around so we could all go get a good night sleep
before I have to report to jury duty in the morning. Drake
lays down for an evening belly rub which he hasn't been
getting recently. Well, I feel like a horrible mom. He
flinched when I touched his chest. "hmm...thats odd" I
think. I investigate. There are lumps all over his little
chest. Some have scabs, some are red, all are hard, and I
can plainly feel at least ten of them in a five inch square
area. Some are small, but some are as large as the pad of my
thumb. Im going to have to drop him off at the vet on my way
to jury duty, and see if they can get him worked in to have
a look see for the day, but I dont have a clue what that
could be. I just gave someone my words of wisdom about how
our pets know when we have reached our limit, and now my
silly boys go and forget that mommy doesn't have time to
take them to the vet. That mommy is now going to get to sit
up all night worrying and sick because she has a lumpy boy,
and I will sit in a courtroom tomorrow hoping they just find
out he has pimples or something. Anyone ever have this
happen? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I search
online and find everything from bug bites to cancer, and I
cant handle that tonight. Always find the worst stuff when I
search for ailments online, its like VetMD (My hubby doesn't
allow me to look at WebMD anymore because Im always dying
lol) So any sane advice, yeah, Ill be in front of the
computer for the next 8 hours til I can take him to the vet.
This does not warrent calling my vet at midnight and making
him come to the house, although........at least one of us
might eventually get some sleep....j/k Dr. Payne. See ya in
the AM!
