[Dailydrool] Dog-safe royal icing recipe

Does anyone have a recipe for royal icing (the kind that hardens like candy) that is safe for dogs? I want to decorates some gingerbread man dog treats for our Waddle, and am guessing the people version with powdered sugar and meringue powder wouldn't be a good choice.
