Thank you, Kim, for the story of Guthrie, the basset who was abandoned in a foreclosed house.

Foreclosed pets, who are animals left in a house when the owners leave, are becoming a real problem.  In some places it is so bad that local authorities check out all vacant houses.  Please, if you know of an abandoned house - check it out for pets needing help.  These animals are truly victims.
