[Dailydrool] Warning

We had an experience today that was kind of scarey. I wasn't here but thankfully son #2 was. Apparently Maggie was enjoying the remnants of a bag of chips when she got her head stuck in the bag. she was unable to breathe according to my son. When he got the bag off of her head, she was gasping for air. I don't know where she got the bag. None of our other hounds have even liked chips, much less tried to lick the bag clean. My point is that I should have split the bag open if it was trash and should have put it up higher if it still had chips in it. Maggie is such a sweetheart. She has never shown any aggression to us and I can't stand the thought that we might lose her over something so stupid.

I am off my warning box now. In twenty-five years of loving hounds nothing like that has ever happened. Have good and safe week.
