[Dailydrool] Need a little drool, kisses, and poo eating

My sweet little blossom is at the vet this am and I hope she will be ok. Last week she had a dental and the vet removed a cyst from under her arm at the same time. Cyst was not malignant and she has been home doing fine.  Last night while petting her, she rolled over on her back and I saw this gaping wound, about an inch long and pretty deep. Somehow the stitches popped in the cut from the cyst removal. She didn't seem to be in pain but we put a bandaid on just to have something over that open wound. It didn't stick but we tried. Hubby took her into the vet and I just hope it doesn't get infected. She is my cuddle bug and is always sitting on the couch with me with her head in my lap.

I kiss Blossom and Elmo all the time, on the tops of their heads. Blossom doesn't give kisses, she just sniffs ears.  Elmo give slobbery wet ones.

Blossom is a poop eater. After she eats the poo she usually throws it up a short time later. It is absolutely the most disgusting, foul smelling stuff I have ever had to clean up. Fortunately she doesn't do it too often.

I have cried so much the last couple of weeks reading about all the houndies who have gone to the bridge. I lost my first two houndies three hears ago, very suddenly, and know how much you are grieving. It gets better with time but you never quite get over it. Little things would happen over the years to let me know that Samantha and Mac were still near. Just listen with your heart. Lots of drools and prayer for Paddie, Baylie, Casey and their people, Ms. Beasley and her mom.I cried so hard reading the lovely tribute to Joe and Jimmy.
