Hi! I'm Fred, and I'm 9 months old. I just came to my family's
house three days ago. My first "family" broke up and couldn't have
me or didn't want me. I'm not bummed out about that at all now
though because of my real family! I wasn't even brought here for
them to keep, they were a stop on the way to the local Humane
Society. My mom keeps saying that she's surprised that Dad suggested
to keep me, he loves cats but doesn't like dogs as much as she
does. So now I have three new kitty friends to chase around and two
sometimes four two legged little ones to play with. I really like
the littlest one, he always share's his food with me. I don't know
why mom doesn't like that, I keep telling her it's nice to teach
babies to share!

So mom said she had enough love for me but knowing I'm purebred and
has papers she thought she should see what breed specific information
she didn't already know about me. She says she's had more experience
with mutts.

She's started to give me food when she wants me to do things, she
tells me to sit, heel, down, blah, blah, blah. With the food though
it's all a long blur. I'm catching on though, she keeps saying I'm a
smart puppy, she's not used to "training" being so easy. She said
before she knows it she's going to have to find other things to
stimulate my brain with because I'll know everything. I keep trying
to tell her I already know everything, I'm just pleasing her to get
those yummy treats.

She's doing a better job on her training too than the last people. I
don't pee or poo in the house anymore, and I hate doing that. She
takes me out and I don't even have to talk to her about it. I only
talk when I play other than that she needs to read the signs. She's
gotten it down pretty good. She stopped using the crate that was
sent with me for the time being. The last people used it as a
punishment so I can't help myself and pee and shake the minute I step
foot in it. I really try not to. She told Dad that she was going to
try a step process to get me to try it again. She tells me it's not
for being bad it's my space. I dunno, I'm glad they took my bed out
of it though so I don't have to go in that dang thing!

Well the littlest two legged on is getting up so I gotta go see what
he's getting for snack.

Have fun!

Fred
