[Dailydrool] How to kiss a basset

1.? Start with your favorite part of the "basset meat".? For me, that's the flabby cheek chops (are they called "flews"?).? When he puffs his cheeks, does flat basset, and bats his tail, that=triple kisses-one on each chop, and one on?his bony head.

2.? Continue with the "lump of knowledge", aka "the basset cockpit" (where all the original thoughts come from).? There is usually a "kissing spot" nearby-in Wally's case-the red spot on his white blaze.

3.? If you can, kiss the nose, although Wally usually resists that procedure.

4.? Ears are a must, and the ear flaps (aka, basset "landing gear").

5.? Armpits, when basset is rolled over-are VERY soft-under all 4 pawsies.

6.? Be sure to kiss the flabby elbows (they ward off enemies, I'm told).



7.? Kiss the speckled paws, and especially the soft spot (so cute!) between the paw and leg joint.



Be sure to include a lot of rubs.? Lipstick marks are optional.



And yes, in return, I get the occasional head back-lick on the face thing, esp. when I sing "Endless Love".
