I've had another text from Becky. She says the drool has helped and Morse seems a lot better today. Poor pup.

BTW Rolph hates boxers. There is one who lives round the corner and I always cross the road if I see it out with its owner as Rolph will go for it. I always sort-of wondered if he had a run-in with one in the pound.

In Rolph's favour, he once again protected me in the street last night. There were a load of late teen lads being noisy and shouting, running down the road. As they came near, Rolph went into overdrive barking and snapping at them - causing one to shout "OMG it's a sausage dog with attitude". Actually they weren't threatening, but it's nice to know Rolph wants to protect me and Clara
