I surprised the spouse with a new pack-member today.  I came home from the
dog show with one more hound than I left with.  I had been giving him
hints....I told him to put clean bedding and buckets in ALL the van crates,
not just the 2 for Bertha and Pimpernoodle.  I called home to feign
ignorance and ask "Now, who lives in the run with Miss Chubbo?"  Still,
there was a moment of silence when I got home and he opened the back doors
of the van and was confronted by 3 smiling hounds.  "Who is this??"  "That's
Crazy" I said.  "Why is she here?"  "To grow up."  Finally he figured he
needed to ask more specific questions.  "Who does she belong to??"  "Us."
He then said he didn't know that it was HER that was crazy.  I thanked him
for not hitting me, and  told Crazy to do her thing.  She went in to his
arms and next thing I know he's smooching her little black and tan
roman-nosed face.

Crazy (aka Touchstone's Lunatick) is just 5 months old and will likely make
her show debut in Sioux Falls SD at the end of next month.  She's a real
love - a face-cleaner and very good at cleaning out human ear canals.  If I
ever get my website working again, she will have a page.

>From her grandma/breeder's recitation of her antics, I suspect she will be
applying for OEBE status soon.  A BABE she is not.
