[Dailydrool] Announcing the arrival of Vern B. Basset!

Paddi B Basset, together with her people and the four cats, would like to announce the safe arrival of Vern B Basset on Thursday, September 24. 

Vern is a bouncing 66 pound, 8 year old tri-coloured boy. He came to us from the local SPCA.

Hounds, people and cats are all doing well.

Vern is a real sweetie .. if extreme cuddling is an Olympic sport, I'd say he's a gold medal contender. As soon as any of us sit on the couch or love seat, he jumps up and scooches over to put his head on the nearest lap. He's even more of an Underfoot than Paddi B is, and that is saying something. Ms. B's aristocratic nose is rather seriously out of joint but they get along well when she forgets she's supposed to be offended by his existence -- I don't expect the offended part to last long.

I'll post pictures when I get organized! Thanks to everyone who encouraged us to invite Vern to join the crew.
