Well, Miss Dottie had a ball once again today.
I am caregiver to my dad that lives with us, almost 93 yrs. old, and sharp
as a tac.
But then, Dottie is sharp too, and once in a great while, my dad doesn't
quite shut his bedroom door tight enough, and Miss Dottie is always watching
for opportunities, and this is one of her favorites.
So she casually walks over, nudges the door a bit, and slithers in. THEN,
the party begins! My dad keeps some crackers, cookies, or donuts on his
shelves in there, to have with his coffee, to not be bothered by the hounds,
( I won't mentions any names ). A short time goes by, and hubby is frantic
looking for Miss Dottie. Aha! there she is, just finishing her escapade
of total glee.
Crackers, cookies, crumbled, chewed, stepped on, on the bed, the floor,
his chair, tipped over containers, some half eaten donuts, knocked over canes,
cough drops chewed and spit out, the garbage knocked over, and a tired and
full Dottie. When hubby opened the door, she waddled out, like it was our
fault she was in there "too long", she was thirsty now after all. It was
hard to be very upset with her, she has this sweet look like, please mom,
let me out, I think I have a tummy ache now..... She drank, went outside,
came in, and snoozed all afternoon, dreaming about her wonderful afternoon.
This is the second time she has done this, and she is really good at
it..anyone else lucky enough, to have a "trasher" in their house?
Barbie and Miss trasher expert Dottie..........
