[Dailydrool] Heartworm

Since I adopted a heartworm positive dog in Central California where there was supposedly no heartworm I dosed my dogs 12 months out of the year there - all of them - no matter how many dogs or what my finances were like.  Now I live in Central Florida where there IS heartworm and I also would never miss a month.  We use Sentinnel as it seems to do a fine job for us against all our local pests.  If a flea ever shows up I also use a topical flea treatment but that happens about once a year here.   Have seen 1 tick in 5 years here and I thank DoG that was the only one! 

 

That is my story and I am sticking with it!
