[Dailydrool] Della Update

Can someone PLEASE remove the Charlie Brown cloud that seems to be  
hovering over my head these days?

Della was doing just fine....and then, BAM!  Doggie Depression.  It  
started with vomiting breakfast 2 days ago; no water all day; ate a  
smidge of dinner--vomited it too; no water all night; went out to pee  
4 times through the night (like Buford!!); kept down a handful of  
kibble for breakfast and had a couple of laps of water.  She slept  
hard but fitful--everytime she woke up she quickly lifted her head to  
see if Buford was in his chairt--empty.  Big, heavy sigh, head went  
down, back to sleep.

Yesterday afternoon between 3-5:  she begged to go out 5 times and  
peeed each.  I picked up the phone, called my vet, and said, "I'm  
coming in with Della and no, I'm not a doggie sickness  
hypochondriac!"  Sure enough--UTI. Everyone thought the same thing:  
when she finally really realized Buf wasn't coming home she got  
stressed, worried, anxious, etc., and got sick.  The trip to the vet  
itself one week after taking that final drive Buford was a killer--and  
I know she sensed THAT from me as we were going because she wouldn't  
settle down in the car.  Poor pup!!

She's sleeping in a sun spot in the living room right now feeling much  
better after just 2 doses of antibiotics.
