[Dailydrool] Maggie update

The slave is doing the happy dance - Maggie gained 1.3 lbs this week. She is
on the mend and is  still having some poop issues. So she is going on rice,
chicken breast and cottage cheese until they resolve themselves. Then I'll
start her on the new dog food slowly. She seems to be losing her taste for
rice or was holding out for something different this morning. The cottage
cheese has probiotics added so that should also help. I'll weigh her again
next week and then again in two weeks to make sure she is still doing well.
In honor of her weight gain she performed her first act of OEBEness in a
while. We went to the bank on the way to the vets so I could cash a check at
drive thru. She knows they give her treats. Kelly wasn't at the teller's
window when we pulled up and Maggie waited until she saw her to start
barking for the treat. She got one treat at the beginning of the transaction
and kept up the barking until after she  the second treat and I pulled away
from the window. By that time I could barely hear- she was barking in my
ear. She is getting very good at standing still on the weight table while
she is being weighed. She is usually in a hurry to leave the vet's abut
decided today to check everything out. Drool definitely Rules. Maggie is
sitting here by the computer wagging her tail and literally drooling away
for the other Houndies and slaves who need it - she must think she is
getting something when I get up. Hopefully we will be off the rice quickly
as I now have rice all over the kitchen floor as well as the hall and living
room rugs. In a bid to get the attention and affection of a sports team a
few weeks ago, she performed feats of athletic prowess. We were at the head
of the line on the ferry. In Friday Harbor walk-ons exit on the car deck and
we were soon surrounded by members of a sport team from Concrete. She slept
away during the crossing but heard all the noise. She got up and put her
front paws on my lap to get as close to the window as she could. She then
climbed on my lap squeezing between me and the steering wheel. She  put her
front feet on the back  of the seat and proceeded to climb up my chest with
her back feet until she was standing on the top of the front seat. She then
Jumped in the back seat and went right up to the window to meet her adoring
fans who thought the whole thing was very funny. Having a 40 lb houndette
with her whole body on my lap and then crawling up my chest was not very
funny for me. She is also going on Beano to stop the horrible gas.
