I hope I am misinterpreting what some of you allow your bassets to do.  I hope, as animal lovers, you do NOT allow your houndies to hurt, injure or scare other living creatures.  It's certainly NOT a moles fault for being born a mole and NOT a basset so please feed and entertain your houndies with other stuff.  And accept my apologies if I am wrong.
