AHEM .. Are you all paying 'tention??   Yesterday was the day . the day we
have been waiting for . the day I have been training for .

Yesterday --- on the 4th of July - in Monroe Michigan - I BECAME A CHAMPION!
Granny Pat let out a big WHOO-HOO so loud that the judge man turned around
and looked at her like she was a little nutty.  So, I got my picture taken
and most important - we all are going to Dairy Queen to celebrate!

Today, Opie got to go to the dog show --- he got a Reserve and was all "hey
- look at my ribbon" when he got home.  But I deflated his little balloon
and told him that I knew there was only one other dog there . Mom says he
has a lot to learn before we hit the road in two weeks.

 

OH - one last thing!  Brudder Elwood - I hate to break the news to you - but
Pennsylvania is right next to Ohio which is right next to Michigan.  You
might think you are going to Slobberfest, but Mom has a new Booster Bath and
she bought some new toebone grinding stones today.  I think you have a
grooming appointment on your calendar . at my house!
