[Dailydrool] Sore place

Has anyone had a Basset get a red, round, raised spot just under the nose overnight? I have made an appointment with the vet. Buster has allergies and his nose has been dripping water and I have had him in twice for his eyes already this season. I had my granddaughter a couple of days and she likes to feed him. Also, my husband put out granules for grubs to try to solve a mole problem. I haven't let him off the leash outside in the treated area. It came up too fast to be a growth. I hope the vet has some answers. I windered if he might have been bitten by an insect. I am giving Benadryl just in case he was bitten.
