[Dailydrool] Isabella goes to her forever home - sad day in San Antonio

After having Isabella as our guest for 10 weeks it was very hard to say goodbye to her this afternoon.  I don't know how people foster and then let the Hounds go live with a family that they don't know.  I know where Isabella is going, and I know that she will be well taken cared of and totally loved, and it was still hard.  

Both girls were thrilled when Sherrilyn got here this afternoon.  When Sherrilyn went out to the car Isabella sat at the front door and barked.  

The girls knew that something was going on when I started packing up Isabella's possessions last night.  And when I took her collar off so that I could get her tags they were both upset.  

Isabella left with a box filled with bags of her favorite treats, some of her favorite toys, and a beautiful blankie that she received from one of her aunties.  She was wearing a gorgeous pink harness that her Mom had bought her and she looked stunning.  

I took a couple of pictures before she left.  She looks so different, now that she has gained almost 9 lbs.   You can no longer count her ribs from 6 feet away.  She has filled out and is just perfect :)

Holly and I walked out to the car for our final farewells.  I gave Bella a kiss and Holly jumped up for a last sniff of her sissy.

Holly Noelle and I are going to miss her....a lot !!!!
