[Dailydrool] Summer Vacation Home Wanted

Dear Droolers,
 
My name is Kroozer and I live in sunny Florida with my Auntie Pam where I must be a forever foster because no one has taken me home yet.  I was saved by Auntie Linda from a shelter in north Florida last summer.  When Auntie Linda took me to the vetman to get me checked out, I had a nasty red tumor on my nebermind.  The vetman took the tumor off and cleaned my teeth and made me handsome again but he couldn't change the bad news he had to give my Aunties at the Rescue.  I have hemangiosarcoma. The kind I have is not the fastest to send me to the Rainbow Bridge and I won't suffer - it should be sudden and could happen any time.  And really, it's not so bad - I mean I am a very experienced basset anyway.  I get to sleep inside now and I have my very own recliner and I get two square meals every day (three if I'm quick to clean the counter off - Counter Kroozer - get it?)  I have people to care about me but there is one problem - although Florida is
 sunny, it has lots of storms and I am terrified of storms.  Not just a little terrified but so terrified that Auntie Pam thinks I might have a heart attack some time.  I'm not like the other bassets who just drool and pant and whine.  I am S.C.A.R.E.D. and I would like to have a vacation home away from all the Florida storms so I can live out the rest of my life in peace and happiness instead of being S.C.A.R.E.D. many times every day as the storms roll through south Florida.  The rain doesn't bother me so much, it is the thunder and lightning.  Auntie Pam has tried every remedy known to droolers and even some special stuff from England that she heard about from Auntie Dawn who has a bazillion bassets.  The only think Auntie Pam can do is give me this really yucky tasting medicine when she is home that makes me go right to sleep but Auntie Pam is not always home so what is a hound to do?  And besides,  who wants to spend the rest of their
 life taking yucky stuff that make them sleep all the time - a guy can't even enjoy life that way.  I mean I sleep alot anyway but it's a good sleep where I can dream of good stuff like food, and food and food.....
 
So if any of you Droolers would like a big handsome boy to come live with them for the summer, please let Auntie Pam know.  She wants me to enjoy the rest of my life.  She says I could even have a winter vacation back here in Florida after the storm season passes - after all, I plan on living my life as long as I can.  So does anyone want me Krooze Man the handsome hound?  If so, please contact my Auntie Pam.
