[Dailydrool] Jody at the Vet's

I don't know what Jody was doing because altho you say he was a handful I don't know if that means he was being a squirrel or he was snapping seriously at people. At any rate I would personally not be at all happy with the Vet mainly because it sounds to me as if she is taking the path of least resistance with little regard for her client. 



Most people do not like being told their dog is being bad. I don't. I understand that ears, almost above anything else, can cause the best behaved dog to swing and snap. They REALLY HURT. Did she give you an anti-biotic or anti=inflammatory for him? Did she do anything besides tell you what NOT to do? The entire visit sounds very negative to me. 



I would be looking for another Vet, one who liked my dog. Honestly, it sounds to me as if she is afraid of Jody or simply doesn't like him. Maybe she has had a bad Basset experience. We all know there is a lot of power in those bodies, and in that jaw, but I still would resist sedating him for a regular visit. Again, I do not know what he was doing. 



This is just my opinion. I wasn't there. I still don't like it.
