[Dailydrool] The Step by Step Guide of The Morning Walk with a Basset Hound

1. Arrive downstairs to find basset hound wagging tail furiously and looking expectantly at his lead.
2. Go to find an anorak as its pouring with rain.
3. Put on waist bag and fill with doggie bags, water bowl, filled water bottle and phone.
4. Get lead, open door, go outside with basset and re-lock door.
5. Unlock door and go back inside to change into more light-weight anorak as the sun has come out and its already warm.  Take keys out of previous anorak and put in new anorak pocket.  Hurry back to impatient looking basset hound.
6. Re-lock door and go to the gate with basset.  Unlock gate and fasten back on hinge, and take basset out through the front garden.  
7. Attempt to pull basset off the Love In A Mist flowers dadslave has lovingly planted.  Basset finally dragged from the middle of them, but a few are now plastered to the ground.
8. Try to stop basset from trampling new ground covering plant dadslave has painstakingly planted.  Fail miserably and try to untangle basset lead from round the tree, hence treading on the plant in the process, just as dadslave looks out the window.  Basset has moved from the garden to the pavement now, and looks innocently on.  
9. Step off garden onto the pavement to start walk.  Basset sits down, scratches, yawns and looks about.  A small tug on the lead only creates reluctance to move and the unmistakable signs of flat basset.  When asked what he wants to do, basset happily gets up and trots back down the drive  home.
10. Follow basset into house, after repeating the unlocking\locking process, cursing profusely.
