There is a vet, Dr. Cuoto, at Ohio State University who is doing ongoing research on osteosarcoma in Greyhounds. Greyts have an unusually high percentage of osteo dx's. Perhaps you could contact Ohio State and Dr. Cuoto for more info on the disease. I know a lot of Greyhound folks use artemisinin with their hounds.
