[Dailydrool] Hiding in the bathroom during thunderstorms.

I theorize that, for dogs, the bathroom is an equivalent of a cave, a safe haven during dangerous times.  Many rescue bassets go to the bathroom and hide during their first few days in a new home.  These are the insecure ones.
 
On the last July 4th at Heidi's beach house, Roland went to bed in the closet in the bedroom.  He's slept there ever since.  Last July 4th at Lincoln City was the loudest I can remember.
