[Dailydrool] BAD Basset :(

Hi all,  I have an important question i need help with asap.  Our basset
Barney who's 3, has turned mean.  We dont know why.  I was hoping maybe one
of you might be able to help??  the last year or so, hes become completely
UNsocial.  He barks and growls at other dogs and is unsocial to people too.
we arent treating him any differently, he gets attention and walks. Last
month he snapped at a CHILD who was trying to pet him.  Granted, the boy
didnt give any warning and just practically jumped on him, but arent bassets
supposed to be the gentlest of dogs??

our new problem, is that we brought Daisy home, who is 2 mo old.  Barney
would seriously hurt her if we left them alone.  he wont accept her, barks
and growls and im afraid hes going to hurt her.

What can we do??

What have we done wrong?  :(
