[Dailydrool] Rosie and Conley

May 4 had my previous foster, sweet Mama Rosie, on it.  Rosie now
lives the best possible life with Beth F. in Alabama.  She gets
spoiled rotten, and has passed her training to be a therapy dog!  So
she gets to go visit sick and elderly people.  Beth told me that Rosie
had such a sweet, gentle nature, she just knew she couldn't keep it
all for herself!

I have here a couple of video clips, from when Rosie and her pups were

below.  Of course, Rosie looks very different now, as you can see from
her calendar page.  She had a tummy tuck (her poor teats were
literally dragging the ground, even after her milk dried up), and
she's put on some good healthy weight, so she looks sleek and smooth
now, not bony and half-starved.  That is what living in a puppy mill
is like for these dogs.  Rosie and the rest of the OMBR 24 were the
lucky ones; they survived it.

Now, as to Conley:  Coyotes ARE scary!  We hear them all the time out
at my folks' farm.  Their two dogs will run out and bark fiercely when
they hear them, but I've noticed they don't get any farther from the
house than about 20 yards; they are no fools!!!!
