Hello Droolers,

I know we are right in the middle of Waddle season and with the economy like it is, cookie money is tight but I would like to ask, no I would like to BEG you to consider buying a virtual raffle ticket, or two or five or twenty to the most special item we have every had.

This is a very limited edition Mother's Day plate - #30 of 50 plates in the whole world - donated by Jacky and Michael Pomponio, our virtual raffle angels. Only 50 people in this whole world will own this plate - wouldn't you like to be one of them?

This raffle is how we support our efforts. Like beautiful Rose, who was dumped on the streets of Jacksonville at the ripe old age of 14 or 15ish (so says the shelter). She is one example of our mission. We have a number of hounds that are terminally ill or who have rare diseases that we support.

Please go to http://www.bassetrescueflorida.com/old/basset-donations.htm and buy those tickets by PayPal. This very limited (50 plates in the whole world) edition of Mother's Day 2009 hand painted plate by basset artist E Schillinger is number 30 of the edition of 50. That's right - only 50 basset lovers in the whole world can own this gorgeous porcelain plate. Time to buy your virtual raffle tickets is as limited as the number of these plates. Ticket sales will last will last until Thursday with the winning ticket being drawn on Thursday night. The funds from the sale of these raffle tickets will be used to care for some very medically needy bassets we have. Check out Rose - a Senior girl that was dumped on the streets to fend for herself. Please give our special bassets a Mother's day gift of good care and lots of yummy food.

Due to the special nature of this plate, the price of our virtual raffle tickets is special as well. $5 each, 3 for $10, 7 for $20, 20 for $50 Purchase your tickets right away! We'll email your ticket numbers to you before the drawing.

Here's a link to pictures of lovely Rose and the lovely plate http://photobucket.com/BassetRescueFlorida

Thanks for your support - sadly we are having a record year and are seeing more and more foreclosure bassets and really need your help!
