After all these years, I don't pay too much attention to the who drools where anymore. I should own part of the company that makes those magic eraser pads because I use them all the time. They work great to remove drool and other basset crud from everything and I mean everything in the house. I don't know how else I'd get the doors clean of the basboards. That stuff has to have some secret ingreient bbecause it's bonded on to wht ever surface it sticks to. Super glue's got nothing over the drool produced by some bassets.

I do have a couple of houndettes whose creative drooling really impresses me. Whenever I'm making their food, Noelle literally looks like she has Niagra Falls coming out of her jowels from the minute I start filling their bowlstill she gets hers. There's always a little puddle in her crate when I go to put the dish in for her. Then there's Dazzle, (aka. Mom to the Wild Bunch), she drools in finely spun strings that look like gosimer spider webbing and when she shakes her head she has it wrapped around her muzzle and spread all over her face. It glistens in the light like blown glass and some of her designs are very creative. One of these days, I'll get a picture but the camera always seems to be in another room when she is sporting one of her best works of art.
