[Dailydrool] Ms. Beasley's Two-Legged Friend

In my neighborhood there is a 7 yr old boy with Down's Syndrome who
absolutely loves Ms. Beasley.  He will come to my door and ask if she can
come out to play. She just adores him too, they will sit on the driveway and
he will talk to her and she will lay her head on his lap  He is so gentle
with her as is she, I stand in the doorway or sit on my porch watching them,
just to be careful.  His name is Curtis and I have met his Mom, she says he
talks about Beasley all the time.  It's as if Beasley knows Curtis is a very
special friend.  When Curtis leaves to go home, Beasley barks and cries, her
way of saying, "Come back soon!" Beasley's always been patient with the
small two-legged relatives, that's one ot the things I love about her.
