[Dailydrool] Miss Angela's diet

Bill here, press agent/personal trainer and diet supervisor to Miss Angela Basset,  Droop and Drool Diva of Wichita and Sedgwick County

Miss Basset thanks all those who sent her diet advice but sends a response that I choose not to print.  She is VERY touch about her weight problem.  She is livid that I shared it with the Drool world.  She refuses to eat the diet food.  The vet said to leave the food out for 20 minutes in the morning and 20  in the evening. 
This is not useful.  Miss Angela will sniff the morning offering, leave it uneaten and then whine all day that she is hungry.  When I put it out in the late afternoon, she will sniff it again, then come and beg while I have supper.  It has boiled down to a battle of wills.  I still contend that one should not cater to the taste of a creature who uses her tongue for toilet pater.  She insists that her right to tasty and filling food is paramount.  

Part of her revolt includes not wanting to go on walks.  She doesn't even wait until I have her out on our walk to do the flat basset.  She goes into passive-
aggressive mode when I pick up the leash and say "Lets go for a walk."  This may be a long process.
