[Dailydrool] not an old timer, but passionate, and I voted for HOP

I can't remember when I joined, but probably 2001 or 2002.  I know I was walking a basset, and some one drove by and stopped to pet my pup and told me about the list.  I am so glad they did, as I am forever grateful to be a part of this group.
I am so saddened that HOP did not reach the next round in RR contest.  I thought it would be a sure thing.  I did vote,  however.  I tried to see if HOP was included in the Petfinder rescue contest and did not see it.  If anyone knows otherwise, I would like to know.
Yankees are almost there, and I am a fan, so closing down for the last couple of innings.
