[Dailydrool] Hal update

We had a pretty rough night.  Dunno if it was loooonnggg or really short
(depends on your perspective!).  Hal's temp was sligtly elevated this
morning so we went to our reg vet & she did acupuncture for pain & fluids.
Said eye looks great.  He's got it open about 1/2 way.  Said we could
increase his pain meds to 4x/day if he needs it.  Wish specialist had told
me that BEFORE last night, I'd have given him another one.  Anyway, he's
more comfy now & eating bland food really well.  Not drinking yet...
stooopid cone.  Specialist says must have lampshade cone.  (If I put a
lightbulb in his mouth would he be doggie Fester?)  We go back to vet monday
where she'll do more pain management stuff, then specialist thurs.  At least
I know that when its healed its healed!  Been in and out of vet since august
with this.
Even with all his problems, rescue still can't have him back.  He's mine,
mine, MINE I tell you! <G>
