Bobby and I often say we wish we could smell Davey one more time. We 
both loved to bury our faces in his coat and take deep breaths.

I miss him so much. He was a nutcase when he was a puppy, but instead 
of being annoying, he was great entertainment. And he became such a 
wonderful dog as he got older -- we called him Mister Perfect. My 
girlfriends referred to him as a gentleman, and he was. It took him a 
while to warm up to strangers (and our Emily is the same way -- this 
move is very stressful on her, with all the strange people in the 
house), but once he knew you, he was fine.
