Is the low platlets due to platlet clumping? Low glucose can occur when the sample of blood isn't spun down after clotting for 20 mins. The blood cells will continue to use the glucose and it will be artifactually low. What is the signalment? i.e., age, clinical signs, etc? Any other abnormalities on the blood work or physical?
